Amrita Ostawal is the Managing Partner of Arete Access. With nearly 15 years of leadership experience in clinical development, medical affairs and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), she has driven evidence-based healthcare decisions across global pharmaceutical and medical device markets.
Her expertise spans health technology assessments, payer value communications, and medical writing, developed through senior roles at leading innovators and consulting companies. Amrita is passionate about leveraging data science to bridge medical affairs and market access, helping organizations demonstrate value through evidence-based insights.
Kavin Kailash is a Partner at Arete Access, bringing a unique blend of financial acumen and healthcare expertise to this role. With a B.A. in Economics from SUNY Buffalo and early experience in financial modeling at the Airbus Group (formerly EADS), Kavin combines strong analytical foundations with deep healthcare knowledge.
His recent experience in Medical Affairs projects include developing scientific manuscripts for various therapeutic areas published in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating his ability to distill complex scientific concepts into clear and concise publications. His operational experience includes setting up and managing business operations in the retail sector while working across various countries and cultures such as Japan, United States and Germany.
Gauranga Kumar Baishya serves as Director, AI/ML Strategy at Arete Access, where he guides the integration of advanced machine learning techniques into clinical development, evidence generation, and market access. He focuses on ensuring that AI/ML models are interpretable, rigorous, and aligned with healthcare decision-making. His expertise spans causal inference, reinforcement learning, generative modeling, and probabilistic machine learning, applied to real-world challenges in computational biology, public health, and computational linguistics.
Gauranga began his academic journey in mathematics at IIT Kharagpur, followed by an M.Sc. in Data Science from the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI). In 2024, he was selected as a Khorana Scholar, supported by IUSSTF and DBT, Government of India, and conducted research at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School, focusing on the deconvolution analysis of human adipose tissue.
